Clinks is working alongside the Making Every Contact Count (MECC) team to offer those working in the North East of England and North Cumbria to come together to understand how the MECC approach can be utilised in your every day work. MECC is an approach to behaviour change that utilises day to day interactions that individuals and organisations are able to have with others to encourage positive changes that can influence everyone’s health and wellbeing. The objectives of MECC training is to enable staff and volunteers to understand how MECC fits into their role. This is underpinned with advice on how to start (or not start) a conversation on health enabling a member of staff to provide information on local services of support.
