Clinks is marking the end of the Stronger Voice project with a communications coffee morning. We hope you can join us!
Join us for an informal communications session to talk all things organisational messaging. We recognise it can feel like massive challenge to help bring consistency of voice to your organisation. That may mean introducing a messaging document, clarifying terms and language you do or don’t use, honing your tone of voice or integrating existing messaging. We want to take some time to help you to overcome those challenges. Our coffee morning will include tips on tackling a messaging project, offer insights from a small organisation that has just completed a collaborative messaging process and, most importantly, provide space for you to discuss your own challenges and queries with the speakers and other attendees.
This session will be most useful to communications staff or senior leaders looking to evolve their organisational messages.
The coffee morning will be led by Liz Kearsley, a communications specialist who works with organisations to improve language, messaging and brand. Liz has been training organisations in the crime and justice sector since 2018 and previously held the position of head of communications at several different charities.
We will also hear from Helen Rowlands, who has 20 years’ experience in the charity sector working in a variety of roles, covering volunteer management, income generation and project management for large national charities as well as smaller regional and local charities. Since 2015 Helen has worked for the Margaret Carey Foundation, a small charity working in both prisons and the community. Helen is currently overseeing the rebrand of the charity which began at the end of 2022.
