This virtual network meeting is for voluntary sector organisations working in the criminal justice system that deliver health-based services. These regular meetings were developed by Clinks’ policy team in response to Covid-19, to provide an opportunity for organisations to come together to discuss the impact of the pandemic on:
- Service delivery
- Service users
- Contract and grant requirements during these challenging circumstances
- Sustainability of the voluntary sector working in health and justice.
Given the second wave of Covid-19 and the number of local lockdowns taking place across England and Wales, we want to continue having conversations about the impact of Covid-19 on the voluntary sector.
However, we also want to use this space to discuss pressing health issues outside of Covid-19 that are affecting people in contact with the criminal justice system, and the organisations that support them. These issues include (but are not limited to):
- Substance misuse and alcohol misuse
- Mental health
- Physical health
- Ageing
- Pregnancy and maternity
- Primary and secondary healthcare experience
- Disabilities.
If you are a voluntary sector organisation who delivers health services to people in contact with the criminal justice system, this network meeting is for you.
These meetings will provide the opportunity to hear from Clinks’ policy team, as well as a chance to share updates and concerns.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing all information required to join the meeting.
If you have any issues registering, or questions about the meetings, please email events@clinks.org
Please join the meeting 15 minutes early to find your way around Zoom and ensure a punctual start to the meeting.
