Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) recently announced that Greater Manchester will not be procuring probation services through the Dynamic Framework commissioning process from June 2021. HMPPS are instead co-commissioning these services with Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
To help organisations understand the changes and co-commissioning process, Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Clinks are hosting an online engagement event.
This event is open to voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice system, who are either based in or currently providing services within Greater Manchester.
It will give organisations the opportunity to hear from Greater Manchester Combined Authority around the planned local and co-commissioning approaches for Day 1 services (which will be delivered from the first day of the new probation model) and Greater Manchester’s future aims and opportunities for partnership working, co-design and co-production with organisations working within the criminal justice system.
There will be time given to answer any pre-submitted questions. Please submit any questions to email@example.com by Wednesday 2nd September with the subject line: GMCA event.
