At Aquarius, we provide specialist gambling support for people in the criminal justice system and wider community, recognising the links between gambling harm, mental health, substance misuse, and offending. We offer training for criminal justice professionals to spot and respond to gambling issues. Our one to one interventions support people in custody, post release, and in the community, for anyone aged 18+, including those at risk, problem gamblers, and affected others. Support usually involves 6 to 12 tailored sessions, in person, by phone, or online. We work closely with police, probation, prison teams, and public health to improve referral pathways. Our group work in prisons and approved premises builds life skills, confidence, and relapse prevention. Support is available in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Mercia, Worcestershire, and the West Midlands.

We music and mentoring to help people lead meaningful lives, free from crime. The common purpose of making music creates an environment where prisoners improve self-esteem, build healthy relationships, and engage in an activity where hard work and perseverance bring rewards. These factors are major steps towards rehabilitation.
For the past 30 years, Changing Tunes has been delivering this life-changing rehabilitation across the south of England in over 15 prisons and beyond the prison gate. In 2017, Changing Tunes Midlands was established. We currently work in several prisons across the region and are engaging with community organisations and youth offending teams to develop a holistic approach to prevention and rehabilitation.

Conviction helps people to navigate and have a voice in the criminal justice system. It develops practical resources to help people access their rights and to support campaigning and policy work, and offers its casework and advocacy service for those in most need.

Grow Inspires supports social inclusion through entrepreneurship. We believe that rehabilitation requires a holistic approach that changes mindset and motivation to work with society rather than against it. Our Lottery funded programmes start with the strengths and aspirations of individuals and channel them into the best way to make legitimate money from their skills. Rather than teaching participants about enterprise, we empower them through entrepreneurship, providing highly practical coaching to develop a sustainable business. Our model uses group coaching where participants provide mutual support and learn from each other.

We also coach business people to become mentors for young entrepreneurs and source mentors for our participants from outside the offender community to improve integration with the outside world.

We work mainly with at-risk young people - Young Offenders, PRUs, SEMH. We are expanding into probation services & adult prisons. We offer motivational, interactive talks & workshops with a key focus on personal empowerment to make positive life choices, regardless of a person's past or environment. A key drive of the organisation is to drive down knife/violent crime - to prevent becoming a perpetrator in the first place or re offending.

Using direct personal experience of being a victim of a violent multiple stabbing in 2016, director Natalie Queiroz, uses this lived-experience to embed the victim perspective - during/after the attack, the long term consequences & ripple effect of the crime. Her hard-hitting talk also focuses on choices & empowerment to come back from even the darkest, hardest times in life to rebuild a strong & better future. Truly anything is possible!

Natalie also advocates the power of Restorative Justice - having direct experience of facing her perpetrator in prison.

Here at ISW Services CIC, we run an independent, confidential support service which is catered to the individual needs of the client. SherlockAI is a not-for-profit CIC who passionately believe in supporting those engaged with the criminal justice system to create better lives for themselves and our communities. We are a team of people with lived experience of the criminal justice system, Probation workers and people who have years of experience within the third sector. We combine this experience to provide excellent service to our partners. Our goal is to leverage emerging AI technology to create better outcomes for people engaged with the criminal justice system.

​But we're just getting started. We want to evolve SherlockAI into a personalised life coach companion to help each individual achieve better outcomes. We do that better as a team working with partners.

We are a long-established charity, started 20 years ago. We principally work with young people to educate and inform them about the dangers of criminal behaviour and stage multi-agency crime and safety awareness days in secondary schools.
We also take offenders, released on licence to these days and have employed offenders and ex-offenders to deliver workshops in schools which has given them a purpose in life and assisted with their rehabilitation.

For more than 30 years, Willowdene has been a pioneer of innovative rehabilitative solutions for men and women facing the complex issues that stem from a life filled with factors including offending behaviour, homelessness, poor mental health, substance misuse, and general disconnection from community and society at large.

Through our innovative rehabilitative pathway, targeted training, wrap-around support and social enterprise activities, we provide men and women facing a life filled with hopelessness an opportunity to take control of their future and build a life filled with purpose, intent and confidence.

Women in Prison is a national charity, dedicated to making a difference to the lives of women affected by the criminal justice system by providing holistic, women-centred support in prisons and the community in order to enable them to meet their resettlement needs and reduce the risk of re-offending. We also educate the public and policy makers about women in contact with the criminal justice system, to promote alternatives to custody and provide a voice for women’s experiences.

Established as a charity in 1986, YSS supports individuals who face multiple life challenges across Warwickshire and West Mercia. With a paid staff team of 50 and over 50 volunteers, YSS provides custody and community-based support to a wide variety of individuals and have particular experience and expertise of supporting those involved in the CJS and those most poorly served by public and statutory services.
YSS services include 1:1, intensive, holistic support to veterans in the CJS; those experiencing familial imprisonment; appropriate adult service; targeted Early Help; as well as supporting people into accommodation on release from prison.
