Domestic Violence Intervention Project
DVIP is a registered charity which aims to increase the safety of women, young people and children affected by and at risk from domestic abuse (DA) in London.
We offer the following range of services:
- Accredited violence prevention programme (VPP) for men who use violence and abuse in their relationships, open to self- referring men, court referrals and community organisations;
- Women-centred support group and 1-2-1 support services for women whose ex/partners are referred to our VPP;
- Therapy for children affected by DA;
- Young person's service for young people using abusive behaviours & parallel support service for parents/partners;
- Risk assessments for private and public law cases;
- Intervention and support services in Arabic to Arabic speaking communities;
- A DA and substance misuse treatment programme;
- Multi-agency DA training and consultancy.
Every year our services benefit approximately 1800 adults, young people and children.
