Irish Community Care
ICC exists to identify and respond to the needs of both the Irish and Irish Traveller communities, through offering and developing professional and culturally-sensitive services. We currently offer support around a range of issues including accommodation, homelessness, offending, physical and mental health, low income, drug and alcohol use, social and cultural isolation, training and employment. Our work focuses on linking our Service Users into opportunities, entitlements and services to improve quality of life. We do this both through drop-in information and advice services and through outreach workers in the community visiting people in their own homes, hospitals and prisons, locally and regionally. We work at a strategic level to inform the development and delivery of culturally appropriate services locally, regionally and nationally.
