Grow Inspires supports social inclusion through entrepreneurship. We believe that rehabilitation requires a holistic approach that changes mindset and motivation to work with society rather than against it. Our Lottery funded programmes start with the strengths and aspirations of individuals and channel them into the best way to make legitimate money from their skills. Rather than teaching participants about enterprise, we empower them through entrepreneurship, providing highly practical coaching to develop a sustainable business. Our model uses group coaching where participants provide mutual support and learn from each other.

We also coach business people to become mentors for young entrepreneurs and source mentors for our participants from outside the offender community to improve integration with the outside world.

The Nelson Trust provides Women's Centre services to women experiencing multiple, complex needs which may include repeated involvement with the Criminal Justice System (CJS). Our mission is to champion trauma-informed approaches to address the root causes of substance misuse, violence, abuse, deprivation and poverty. Our comprehensive services are based at our Women’s Community Centres in Gloucester, Swindon, Somerset, Bristol and Wales. The gender-specific services we offer address needs across the Nine Pathways that lead to offending (including housing, health, substance misuse, employment, and family breakdown), and divert women away from the CJS. The Trust was established in 1985, and our women’s services were informed by our abstinent-based residential rehabilitation programme in Gloucestershire. We work with women across Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Avon and Somerset and Wales to reduce re-offending and support women to achieve sustained, positive changes in their lives.
