Peer Power is a social justice charity that is rooted in the promotion of empathy. We support vulnerable children and their workers to develop strong and trusted relationships, improve emotional health and well-being, and to work together to transform services for children in need. Peer Power staff have experience of these support services, resulting in accelerated empathy and engagement with this group of ‘hard to reach’ children and young people.
Peer Power has been developed in response to what this group of young people have said would make a difference, and its work falls into three strands:
1. Relationships
2. Involvement
3. Employment
Services include: peer support, mentoring, relational training, employment support, service user consultation and research, professionals networks, journey of the child, shared decision making

We provide specialist counselling to men within the poorest and most deprived regions of the country that are typically risk crime rate areas.
We provide crisis support over the long term for high-risk clients
There isn’t a male advocacy service within Cornwall and Devon. We address this gap with an experienced crisis support worker.
We work with suicidal clients to re-engage in their lives and find meaning. We have a 100% success rate with suicidal clients. We periodically check in on them after they have completed their sessions and all are stable and working on moving their lives forwards.
We specialise in counselling for men (and those who identify as male) to support and encourage them to achieve their full potential. We work with victims of abuse, crime, domestic violence, childhood trauma, everyday trauma, and many other issues. We also work with historic trauma which continues to impact clients throughout their lives and is quite often what has lead to their criminal acts.

We believe that in a fair and effective criminal justice system, offenders are held to account, sentences are proportionate, and the primary purpose of prison is rehabilitation not retribution. We want to see:
A reduction in unnecessary imprisonment through greater use of non-custodial alternatives
The improvement of prison conditions and the prevention of torture and ill-treatment
Child-friendly criminal justice systems which use detention only as a last resort
proportionate and gender-sensitive responses to women offending
The abolition of the death penalty and the introduction of humane alternative sanctions.

Penrose is a charity that has been supporting people with complex needs for 50 years. As a Tier 2 provider for London CRC, we currently deliver the following high-performing services:

• Resettlement support to 6,000 men per year in 4 male prisons
• Community supervision of 2,500 men sentenced to less than 12 months, with our Responsible Officers based in every London borough
• Job Fairs that bring together a range of employers and trainers, providing service users a one-stop shop of live opportunities, CV and disclosure workshops and interview technique classes

Outside of our probation work, we deliver a wide range of residential and floating support services across London, Brighton and Bedfordshire, with a particular focus on mental health (including forensic), substance misuse and complex needs.

People Arise Now provides stabilising support for family members of prisoners and ex-offenders, through mentoring, life coaching, well-being activities and various workshops. The charity also mentors ex-offenders and offers a CV clinic, along with relevant workshops, to assist with community reintegration.

We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives.

At Peterborough CAB we provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.

We help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

The types of community support services that we provide are:
• Financial capability, benefit and debt advice.
• Housing advice, prevention of homelessness work & court representation.
• Volunteer/supported placements in Bureaux.
• Mentoring and advocacy support,
• Prison in-reach advice and support.
We have active partnerships with local criminal justice and offender management consortia and the One Service, and are sub-contracted to Cross Keys Homes and Axiom to support their tenants.

Phoenix Futures provides services for people with drug and alcohol problems. We offer services within community, prison and residential settings in England and Scotland. Through our expertise we are able to support our service users at every stage of their recovery.

We have worked with a number of Probation Trusts delivering specialist substance misuse services.

Physical Folk is about storytelling. Every culture, community, group or individual has a story to tell. We provide a platform for people to share their stories through a range of mediums including film, immersive media and performing arts. We facilitate the sharing of skills and experiences amongst participants, to support and equip those who feel vulnerable or isolated from their community. We believe empowering people to be creative together nurtures community-feeling and cohesion by giving them a voice.
Our creative practitioners work with members of the community to generate and deliver their own social projects. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, to share their skills and grow their community together.
We currently deliver a Creative Employability Programme for unemployed 16 to 24 year olds as part of a ESF and ESFA funded project to enable them to gain employment or access Further Education.

We provide an affordable, anonymous online recovery course for people struggling with sex and/or porn addiction. Our programme is evidence based and we are currently developing further programmes for partners. Our main client group are those who have committed a sexual offence as a consequence of their compulsive sexual behaviour, but we also work with those at risk of offending.

Looking to expand our services to support ex-offenders, Plan B Projects originally designed to provide mentoring to individuals aged 14-19 in education, employment or training and are at risk of expulsion, due to behavioural problems. We employ Person Centred Approaches to develop Plan B Projects. Our programme designed to nurture the dreams and aspirations of individuals. Role Models employed to identify individual’s barrier to learning, preferred learning methods, strength/talents. We use creative/stimulating motivational activities to develop these abilities leading to understanding of how positive engagement in society act as spring board to achieving ones dream.

Our mission is to be a platform for connection, transformation and social change.
We provide mental health and other services to 8000 people a year through our portfolio of 100 projects and services across five Welsh Health Board areas and fourteen local authorities, circa £9m annual turnover. Projects and services are grouped below;
-Crisis prevention and home: homelessness/mental health, housing and support
-Meaningful and purposeful life: employment, volunteering, training, skills development, community development, peer support, young people’s work, substance use
-Therapies, wellbeing centres, learning: counselling, workplace wellbeing, professional training and development

PLIAS offers resettlement for offenders and ex-prisoners through information, advice and guidance. This includes employment and job search, education and training, IT, CV writing, interview techniques, confidence building, mentoring and counselling, one-to-one personal development and life coaching.

POPS is a user-led organisation, supporting families through their contact with the criminal justice system (CJS) as a result of a loved one’s conviction.

POPS’ work:
 strengthens & rebuilds family ties
 creates safe spaces for families & under-represented communities to speak out about issues affecting them
 increases public awareness of the impact of the CJS
 advocates for changes in public policy & commissioning.

POPS provides:
 Family Support Services at 14 prisons across the North-West/Yorkshire/Leicestershire;
 Community-based support for women through the Farida Women’s Centre (Oldham);
 Community-based support for people on probation and their families (Wellbeing Service - Greater Manchester);
 Prison & community-based education programmes;
 Community-based interventions for prisoners from BAME backgrounds;
 Advocacy & support for under-represented communities.

We aim to improve quality of life of ex-offenders, facilitating change and assisting them in realizing their self-worth. We will work with them whilst in prison, help them find their sense of belonging in society thereby combating stigma & barriers built by societal prejudice.

We focus on reducing re-offending by working with offenders and ex-officers in providing accommodation, training & employment. Our aim is to build their self-worth & self-esteem especially post-release through the assessment & management of risk, also encouraging strong family connection and positive relationship ties post-release.

Positively UK is the leading provider of peer support for people living with HIV. We strongly believe that people who understand the implications of living with the condition are best placed to develop and deliver services and policies that effectively support the community. Founded by two people living with HIV, today all our front line staff and volunteers are themselves HIV positive. We support Over 1,400 individuals living with HIV each year, enabling them to make informed choices around their health and social care, live well with HIV, and achieve the best physical, emotional and social well-being. We do this through the provision of one-to-one support, group work and information. Our work complements clinical care, and our peer workers are integrated into clinics and prison across London.

PbC is a multi-layered organisation that supports the development of children & young people to reach their full potential through Cultural Education, Creative Practice & Civic Leadership as a catalyst for cultural, social & economic change. Our mission is to support vulnerable C&YP facing multiple and complex disadvantages to have the right to access new experiences & opportunities to live a fulfilling life, that builds a brighter future in the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall & Wolverhampton) & the surrounding areas of the West Midlands.

Our staff and directors are drawn from a range of backgrounds including public policy, academia, central government and frontline teaching and learning.

Our works covers a large range of projects and clients, such as:
- bringing education expertise into custodial settings with the ultimate goal to ensure everyone can access high quality education and training.
- delivering employability training designed to support people lacking key skills, to secure long-term and meaningful employment opportunities.
- supporting service providers, helping them secure funding across a range of central and local government schemes, and provide strategic guidance.

Facilitating art workshops for offenders, ex-offenders, youth at risk of offending, and socially excluded groups. These workshops have been ongoing in our local community for the last two years, working with refugees, Alzheimers support workers, a psychiatric unit and the probation service.

With a focus on reducing reoffending and child protection, Prison Family Support (PFS) works in HMP Lewes facilitating prisoners' involvement in child related proceedings such as Child In Need conferences and adoption support. Support with making Child arrangements order applications is also available. Additionally, PFS provides activity and craft packs to the prisoners who are in contact with their children to enhance communication and strengthen relationships while in custody. We are engaged in partnership with Sussex Prisoners' Families (SPF) who also work towards reducing the impact imprisonment has on families and children. PFS also works alongside the Family Service provider at HMP Lewes to provide strong and comprehensive support for families.
