Prison Outreach
The project holds a weekly clinic within Peterborough prison, providing support to women on remand or serving sentences. Peterborough is the receiving prison for women from Leicester both on remand and post sentencing. We regularly visit women serving sentences in prisons across the country, most regularly Foston Hall and Drake Hall.
Most of the women are serving relatively short sentences relating to their prostitution and substance misuse such as dealing illegal substances, theft, low level fraud and other poverty crimes.
Some of the women we work with have been involved in prostitution and drug use for many years which has increased their exposure to criminal activity and their association with perpetrators of more organised and high profile crime so consequently, there are a small number of women we support in prison who are serving longer sentences for more serious crimes such as violence.

New Hope Rehabilitation Supported Accommodation aim to provide in-depth support to individuals who are experiencing addiction issues through showing compassion, empathy and positive regard, offering a range of support programmes based on abstinence putting the person at the forefront of their treatment giving them the opportunity to regain control of their lives. We place a special emphasis on addressing the issues that often underpin addiction such as trauma, shame and guilt. The philosophy of New Hope Rehab is deeply rooted in the desire to making a long term difference in the lives of those that access the service.

New Horizon Youth Centre is a day centre based in Somers Town, Kings Cross working with young vulnerable people from backgrounds of disadvantage and destitution. Our Creating Positive Futures Project works specifically with Youth Offenders and young people Leaving Care from throughout London and the UK. We provide an avenue of change for 2,000 vulnerable young people each year. We make that change positive. We prevent the situation from worsening and provide the opportunity at a crisis point for people to make positive choices and positive changes. Our outreach works includes street outreach, work in prison, resettlement support and preventative work in schools. We provide a flexible response, supporting vulnerable people whose needs are not being adequately met through local or national strategies at any particular time and those who are destitute, with no statutory entitlement at all. We work with young people who are gang affiliated to secure safe accommodation and services.

Our Coaching Company is a one-stop service provider aimed at people coming from a disadvantaged background men and women 16+, we specilise in working with homeless people and offenders. We offer one-on-one and peer mentoring group sessions, focus groups, and workshops. We also have our own Facebook group. We aim to empower personal transformation, compassion, and well-being. Founded by someone who has walked the path, we understand the challenges our clients face. By addressing triggers, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for growth, we empower individuals to create a fulfilling and purpose-driven life. Together, we illuminate the path to self-discovery and help our clients embrace a brighter and more empowered future and live the best version of themselves. We have a counseling team that helps with trauma and more. We are always seeking collaboration and partnership to help cover all 7 areas of rehabilitation and are willing to travel to make a change and build better communities.

New Journey Coaching C.I.C. offers targeted support for stable housing:
Guidance: Our peer coaches provide personalized plans for securing and maintaining suitable accommodation.
Challenges: Practical tools and workshops empower clients to overcome obstacles like rental arrears and access supportive housing.
Integration: We connect clients with local resources for community belonging and seamlessly integrate housing support into our resettlement program.

Online Community: Our virtual platform facilitates housing-related discussions and peer support.
Accessibility: Government-funded services are provided free of charge, ensuring accessibility for all.

We aim to affect cognitive and behavioural change by working with perpetrators (male and female) to end the cycle of domestic abuse. By holding them accountable for their actions, we have seen changes in their attitudes which have had significant effects on the family dynamics and has kept survivors safe.
The Respect programme and the Freedom programme for perpetrators are completed over 12 weeks on a 1:1 basis. These programmes help perpetrators by raising awareness, supporting behavioural change and increasing accountability by focusing on interventions in the early stages of abuse. We also focus on improving any deficits in conflict management and poor communication by promoting the social skills and training to reduce violent behaviour.
By examining and challenging the attitudes, beliefs and actions of perpetrators, these programmes describe how survivors and their children are affected by being exposed to abuse. We work with their families to ensure that changes are implemented.

No Going Back (NGB) is a programme that provides support to individuals in and out of prison, helping them develop the skills necessary to turn their lives around and prevent them from returning to prison. With over 150 volunteers, many of whom are employers, NGB is able to tap into a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure success. Partnerships are also key to everything it does including with the prisons and other organisations in the sector. NGB is also a Cleaning and Support Services Social Enterprise, employing individuals leaving prison and driving commercial success. The dedicated engagement managers are all committed to transforming the lives of those involved in the criminal justice system. Annual Independent evaluation has proved NGB’s success in generating social impact and effecting real change. No Limits helps young people to help themselves through the provision of information, advice, counselling, & support services to children & young people (aged under 26) and their families. Through our open access Advice Centre in Southampton, weekly drop-in sessions & education programs in schools & FE Colleges & specialist support in Hampshire, Portsmouth & Southampton including: Community Support, Resettlement of Young Offenders, coming out of YOIs, Substance Misuse services, Safe Havens out of hours crisis support, Therapeutic groups, Employment support, Young carers and advocating young people's rights.
We support more than 7000 young people a year, many of whom are vulnerable, eg young offenders, homeless, mental health issues, care leavers etc.

We are a social enterprise using music and technology with people who are disengaged from the mainstream through problems such as mental health, addiction, offending, challenging behaviour or chaotic lifestyles.

Our programmes work on a one to one basis with the hardest to reach learners and the key outcome is increased confidence as well as re-engagement with professional or education services and, potentially, progression to other appropriate opportunities. Clients learn the skills that they need to create music they view as relevant to them – it could be grime, dubstep, trance, hip hop or any other genre. Many clients undertake Arts Awards which are meaningful qualifications which can be used to build up credits towards a college place.

Noise Solution uses cutting edge music technology and has an absolute focus on excellence in provision. As a result we have consistently impressive results with clients for whom there are often few choices left.

The main goal of our work has been to build the capacity of voluntary/community groups to help them become more "business like" in their development and delivery or work.

Key to this work is the ability to build networks of smaller organisation. Often small and micro organisations do not have the capacity to have specific skills and dedicated resources such as an IT department. But through collaboration organisations and individuals can offer their services to each other thereby bringing a wider base of experts

North Bristol Advice Centre provides free confidential advice and information to people living in North Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We run a weekly debt advice session in Horfield Prison. We provide specialist debt and welfare benefits advice across our communities and from our main office in Lockleaze. We also run IT drop in sessions and a project for older isolated people. We are about to launch a social enterprise running a community cafe and employment support business hub.

North Wales Women's Centre is a safe place for the multi-service provision of information, support, advocacy, training and referral on issues relating to work, health and well-being. We also provide confidential crisis support around issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse and difficulties which may result in, or have resulted in, women breaking the law.

Since 1990, our professional Music Therapists have been helping people across North Yorkshire. Music therapy enables people of all ages and abilities to communicate and express themselves through music, voice, instruments and music technology. It can help people to build confidence, develop social skills, improve dexterity and process emotional or psychological problems. Music therapists work with the power of music to communicate and to change lives. Instruments, voices and sounds are used in music therapy to build a trusting relationship where issues can be explored with the support of the therapist. There are various models of music therapy which have developed in different settings over the last 60 years. Our team provides weekly individual and group music therapy sessions in schools, clinics, hospitals and homes.

Achieve with NERAF is an independent charity established to enable positive lifestyle change and recovery to people affected by alcohol or drug misuse. We do this by providing a personalised support tailored to meet the individual’s needs. We will not put you in a box and label you as someone with an addiction! you are your own person,.

We will make you feel welcome, listen to your story and then work with you to help you achieve what matters to you. We take pride in working “with” you rather than doing what we do “to” you. We will provide you with a volunteer to support you throughout your journey to recovery. Our Recovery Coach will help you to navigate your recovery and can help you address issues such as debt, housing, employment and a multitude of others. Our services include;

NERAF takes pride in employing those who have previously been through an addiction in both paid and volunteering roles, Many of our support team and are in ‘recovery’ themselves, but some may be here as they have a genuine interest in this field.

Many people in our communities have missed out on or had a negative experience of education. For many this leads to low self-esteem and confidence, isolation, inactivity, unemployment and poor health. Services often fail to meet the needs of this group, leaving large sections of our communities with little or no optimism for the future.
Addressing inequality in learning opportunities means addressing human dignity, yet it also constitutes the best social and economic investment for any society.

The Northfield Town Centre Partnership (NTCP) was formed in early 2007. Since its formation the NTCP has become an integral part of the local community, such is its presence that it now represents a strong view regarding all activities and decisions in the town centre.

The ‘Visit Northfield Shop’ is vital in providing an accessible and prominent high street location for the provision of services that improve people’s life chances, whilst providing facilities and support to groups who deliver opportunities to the wider community. The NTCP has been extremely fortunate in securing ‘Big Lottery’ funding until April 2017. This will allow us to continue, grow and develop the much needed community work within the Northfield area.

We provide information advice and support to voluntary and community groups within the area. We provide a number of projects that meet identified need. Our holistic approach to addressing issues related to disadvantaged people has brought positive change to individuals and the local community. Our work with individuals has been recognised with a Royal visit by HRH Prince Charles and a ministerial visit in relation to the work we have done with unemployed individuals.

Northumbria Coalition Against Crime is a registered charity, set up in March 1990 as a partnership between business, community, voluntary and statutory sectors, with a mission to reduce crime, anti-social and unacceptable behaviour in the North East.

28 years on our objectives remain the same today;

Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service aims to improve the quality of people’s lives in Nottingham through strengthening the voluntary sector. We support the VCSE sector through:

Volunteering: Improving the quality of volunteering and breadth of volunteering opportunities across the city;
Voluntary sector development: Strengthening the voluntary sector’s capacity to help its clients through promoting best practice, funding advice and training;
Voices: Speaking up for the voluntary sector on issues crucial to its future, and increasing the sector’s access to, and influence upon, decision makers;
Voluntary Action Centre: Providing a space for organisations to meet and network, access training and promote their work.
