Cumbria Gateway is a progressive and innovative Social Enterprise based in Carlisle, providing user-led, person centred health and social care services within the substance and alcohol misuse field. The project has evolved primarily as a response to gaps in service delivery.
This is the cities only peer led recovery facility that offers Supported housing, recovery centre and training voluntary/employment opportunities to its clients. The facility provides clients within a range of services that teaches them necessary life skills. This collaborative approach to empowerment is the keystone to developing self-sufficiency in the clients.
