Our ‘Building self-belief’ programme of workshops builds skills in emotional intelligence that is currently missing from our school curriculum. Over a series of workshops (generally between 12 and 24 hours of delivery) young people between the ages of 15-30 are given tools to explore the following:
Self Awareness
• Understanding strengths, challenges, motivations
• Developing a positive sense of identity
Self Management
• Recognising emotional triggers
• Learning to respond rather than react
• Building resilience and confidence
Understanding Others
• Recognising different personality types
• Learning to value differences
• Reducing conflict and improving communication
Relationship Skills
• Understanding how they come across to others
• Adapting communication to build stronger relationships
• Working effectively in teams
We work in partnership with organisations such as schools, colleges, The Spear programme, King’s Trust, SWRAC and MyTime Young Carers and within Prisons.
