As we head into our annual Clinks membership renewal period, we wanted to share a short overview of how renewals work, what to expect, and why staying connected as a member matters.
Renewal emails will begin going out to member contacts from Monday 16 February. We’re sharing this information in advance so you know what to expect and where to find further details once emails start landing.
Clinks membership renews annually on 1 April, and we’re now starting the renewal process for the year ahead.
What’s happening now?
Your organisation’s member contact will receive an email from us with:
- details of your current membership, and
- a link to a short renewal form
We’d really appreciate renewal forms being completed as soon as possible, and by 6 March if you’re able to. This helps us process renewals in good time and ensures continuity of membership from 1 April.
Please complete the form, whether you renew or not
We ask all current members to complete the renewal form, even if you decide not to renew.
Doing so helps us to:
- accurately track membership renewals
- keep our records up to date
- understand members’ experiences and feedback
If you choose not to renew, the form includes a short set of questions about your experience of Clinks membership. This feedback is genuinely valuable and helps us improve how we support the sector.
Why renew your Clinks membership?
At its heart, Clinks membership is about being part of a connected, supported voluntary sector working in criminal justice.
Alongside our core benefits, many members tell us they most value:
- Networking and connection; opportunities to connect with other organisations facing similar challenges, share learning, and build partnerships
- Area-based support; insight, relationships and engagement that reflect local priorities and realities across different parts of the country
- A collective voice; contributing to national conversations, policy influence and system change through a trusted infrastructure body
Membership also provides access to a wide range of information, resources, networks and opportunities designed to support organisations of all sizes working in criminal justice.
You can find full details of what membership includes, and who is eligible, on our membership page: www.clinks.org/membership
I haven’t received the renewal email, what should I do?
Renewal emails will begin going out to member contacts from Monday 16 February. If you haven’t received a renewal email, it may be because:
- you’re not listed as the current member contact, or
- the email has gone to another colleague in your organisation
You can check who your organisation’s member contact is by:
- logging into your Clinks account
- going to My account
- scrolling to the Membership section
Here you’ll find details of your organisation’s membership, including the name of the current member contact.
If you need to update the member contact, or you’re unsure who should complete the renewal form, please get in touch with us.
Not currently a member?
If you’re reading this and your organisation isn’t currently a Clinks member, you won’t receive a renewal email.
However, you can find out more about membership and apply to join via our website: www.clinks.org/membership
Questions or need help?
If you have any questions about membership renewals, or need to update your organisation’s details, please contact us: membership@clinks.org
Please note: to avoid duplicate responses, the renewal form is not linked from this page and should only be completed using the link sent in the renewal email.
