Update your organisation details on Clinks' Directory of Offender Services
The Directory now includes a dedicated section on services for offenders from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.
Your organisation is currently marked as working specifically with people from BAME backgrounds.
If you provide specialist services to BAME offenders, or if you work with people from particular ethnic communities, you can now add more detail about:
- which BAME communities you work with, and
- whether your organisation is BAME-led
Adding this information will help ensure BAME service users can find and access culturally-appropriate services for their needs.
"Many of our BAME clients resettle to a different part of the country after their release from prison - now we'll be able to use the Directory to find them appropriate services where they live."
Phanuel Mutumburi, Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality
If you provide services to all offenders rather than specialising in working with those from BAME backgrounds, you can also correct this information by updating your record.
