Joanne is the founder and director of Junction 42, a charity that focuses on creative engagement, faith and employability, and holds the prisons seat on the RR3. Joanne is a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in the criminal justice sector, dedicated to bringing positive change to the lives of offenders and their communities.
The charity works in the Northeast of England and Edinburgh brings hope and inspiration to over 800 prisoners annually. It successfully supports peoples' transition from prison into the community, stabilising lives and reducing re offending. Junction 42 has used its local expertise to design, curate and distribute a national faith resource with an annual distribution of 80,000, engaging 94% of prisons across the UK.
