Christina Line is Chief Executive of The Nelson Trust and has worked in the voluntary sector for over a decade delivering Women’s Centre and Residential services, including for women at risk of or involved in the criminal justice system. A believer of change and passionate about helping people to heal, recover and thrive by ensuring the right support is available at the right time.
She has extensive experience in service design, commissioning, and developing trauma- and gender-responsive support for women facing multiple unmet needs and structural disadvantage.
Through her work across England and Wales, she contributes to policy discussions and system change, advocating for effective solutions that support women, strengthen families, and improve outcomes for communities. She is a member of the National Women’s Justice Coalition, the Effective Women’s Centre Partnership, and a trustee of the Howard League for Penal Reform.
