Pathways to Independence is a registered charity providing supported housing services to homeless single adults including ex-offenders across Kent and Medway.
We are excited to recruit a Head of Services who will manage the delivery and development of current supported housing and other support services across sites in Kent as we embark on an ambitious programme for growth in the years ahead. You will work alongside another Head of Service, both with shared responsibility for management of staff, oversight of client risk and support needs and service development, with an initial focus on ex-offender services work.
Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm weekdays, with flexibility needed to attend some evening/weekend meetings. In addition, you will share the lead in providing out of hours management response/second line response to emergencies and incidents, as part of a 3-person rota.
The successful candidate will have good experience of managing accommodation-based support services for vulnerable single adults, as well as having excellent experience in developing services for ex-offenders, and with a sound knowledge of the criminal justice system. You will need to be compassionate and caring, be flexible and responsive, be organised and have good IT skills, and be an excellent communicator.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential along with the daily use of a car (subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Equality Act 2010.)
An Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required; however, a criminal conviction will not prejudice your application but will be risk assessed for the role.
Pathways is committed to eliminating discrimination and to working with people from diverse backgrounds.
