A secondment opportunity has come up for voluntary sector staff to join Clinks for 4 months as part of our Area Development Team to support the North West of England criminal justice voluntary sector.
Clinks is the national infrastructure charity supporting charities and social enterprises working with people in the criminal justice system and their families in England and wales. We have been providing this support since 1997 and we’re proud of our achievements on behalf of a sector which provides vital support to people in increasingly difficult situations at a time of challenge and opportunity in their lives.
This role supports the criminal justice voluntary sector in North West England. The post holder will need to understand relevant structures, building and nurturing existing relationships with key partners and a range of stakeholders across sectors. They will engage with government strategies and explore their impact on the voluntary sector within the local criminal justice context, including justice devolution agendas to enable voluntary sector engagement and opportunities for influence.
The post holder will work with the area development team to support and co-ordinate information gathered between the team, policy and thematic staff to ensure messages, intelligence and learning are shared. They will coordinate, support and facilitate events to support voluntary sector and stakeholder engagement.
Fixed term contract until 30th Jan 2021 (with possibility of extension)
