An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Stronger Families team in Leeds as a Key Worker, working with participants involved with the programme.
We are looking for a highly motived and enthusiastic Key Worker to work with individuals and families to help them to define their own needs and plan interventions. You will be skilled in recognising and addressing multiple barriers to employment, education or training and have experience in this area of work.
You will be able to communicate, motivate and work restoratively with a range of people. You will be able to work on your own and as part of a team working seamlessly alongside other project strands in the programme. Ensuring the timely, accurate and compliant completion of paperwork and meeting targets is also key to the success of the role.
The programme is part of Building Better Opportunities, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. The programme is delivered in Bradford and Leeds to support families to overcome the barriers preventing access to education, training, employment and skills building.
In June 2018 we re-branded from DISC to Humankind and over the last 12 months we have developed a new 5-year strategy outlining our ambitious plans for the future.
