Do you hold a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, and/or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. Health Care, Nursing, Social Work, equivalent overseas qualification)?
Do you have experience of leading on service development or initiatives to improve service delivery within a health and/or social care setting? Do you have experience of working closely with external agencies to develop strong working relationships? Do you have experience in providing a range of evidence-based treatment interventions to support drug and/or alcohol users in a community-based setting? Do you have experience of supervising and developing staff?
Do you have knowledge and understanding of the principles of good management practice in relation to the supervision, support, development and performance monitoring of staff as well as performance management within a service? Do you have the ability to provide leadership and guidance to staff in the achievement of individual and team objectives in order to meet the contractual requirements of the service? Do you have the ability to take a proactive approach to the development and maintenance of detailed case recording and data monitoring systems?

About the job
Provide operational management, transformation and line management support across the Recovery and Mentoring Team within North Yorkshire.
Manage and lead on the development of an equitable and inclusive recovery community across North Yorkshire, working closely with staff to build a forward looking, dynamic and competent team within a culture of continuous performance.
Work collaboratively with external partner agencies and services to provide interventions to support and motivate service users and meet their needs through all stages of their individual recovery journey.
The overall view is to support the development of a strengths-based, recovery-orientated, change and outcomes focused approach, based on personalisation, responsibility, co-production, community development, and partnerships.
