Humankind are proud to deliver drug and alcohol recovery services across the North East. We provide high quality services in partnership with service users, partners and communities across County Durham, South Tyneside and Sunderland (Wear Recovery).
We are looking to grow and develop our bank of recovery co-ordinators to work flexibly across our three services, supporting our service teams and helping us to meet the needs of local communities.
Bank staff play a key role within our teams and a full range of development opportunities is provided. Many team members who join us as bank staff go on to work with us on a permanent basis.
Working on a flexible basis, main duties of the role will include:
• Working as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.
• Providing holistic and structured recovery coordination and psychosocial interventions to service clients, involving their families and carers.
• Working to ensure effective delivery of assessment, structured interventions and recovery coordination within integrated service models.
