We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Research Officer to join our Research team on a 12 months fixed term contract basis. You will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of our services and line managing the Research Officer.

Reporting to the Research Manager or Senior Research and Development Officer you will be responsible for carrying out primary and secondary research and ongoing evaluations in line with the priorities of the Research & Development Team.
You will be required to contribute to the business development agenda of the organisation by acting as the research lead on tenders. This will involve, among other tasks, producing concise summaries of research and services, keeping up-to-date with best practice and policies and undertaking service user needs analyses. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of innovative evidence-based models to meet gaps in provision.
To take up this challenging post you will have experience or knowledge of drug treatment service delivery including experience of developing programmes for accreditation. You will have strong background of data management and analysis using SPSS and Excel and undertaking literature and systematic research reviews. You will hold qualification degree in a social science.
