Jess Mullen is Director of Influence and Communications at Clinks. She leads Clinks’ highly regarded and active influencing to affect positive policy change and to promote the role of the voluntary sector working criminal justice, ensuring it represents and is informed by the knowledge and expertise of the voluntary sector.
Since Jess joined Clinks in 2012 she has worked across the organisation in various areas including leading and authoring the Young Review into improving outcomes for young black and Muslim men in the CJS, leading our area development team and work to facilitate engagement between the sector and police and crime commissioners and activity to support the sector to evidence its impact.
Jess has worked in the voluntary sector for 18 years in a variety of roles, all of which have focused on supporting and empowering disadvantaged groups to have their voices heard and needs met through community development and influencing and advocacy work. She is a trustee of Hackney Council for Voluntary Service.
