Beyond Recovery CIC
Founded by Jacqueline Hollows MSc, Beyond Recovery aims to help people look beyond mere survival and existence, and instead to move forward, with hope, resilience and purpose in life. The impact of this work creates far reaching ripple effects in communities, relationships, careers, business opportunities as well as complete recovery from previously intractable diagnosis’s.
The work of Beyond Recovery is based on an approach called the Three Principles, which was recently described as having a common sense simplicity with intellectual credibility [Kessel 2017] – this differs from many other approaches to tackling human problems in one fundamental way: it focuses on teaching health rather than treating illness. The model is rooted in a belief that we all have inner mental good health and teaches individuals how to access and sustain this health.
Beyond Youth CIC
Without tackling the underlying causes of why marginalisation exits in the first place it is very difficult to bring about lasting change and therefore it is necessary to alter the thinking patterns of participants before addressing the practical issues otherwise their underlying emotions will always cause conflict both in themselves and others. We believe and have demonstrated that change must start from within and we are best placed to deliver this.

Care Leavers' Association, The
•User Led Support - A Network Project, group support, social networking site and virtual mechanisms to help people connect.
•Projects - Areas of work with specific outcomes – young people, access to records, speaking out, media.
•Training and Assessment - We work with a wide range of organisations to improve service delivery to care leavers through training and quality assessment.
•Advice, information and signposting - Focus on informing care leavers about their rights through signposting to additional support services and developing our guides and fact sheets while providing some individual casework.
•Research, Policy and Campaigns - We conduct, collate and promote research about care leavers
Care-Connect
Perhaps the best way to view Care-Connect is that it acts as a bridge between the academics and their research at the University and external stakeholders such as Leeds City Council, the NHS and 3rd sector organisations. By bringing the two together we hope to both inform and explore the implications of policy and practice.
Catch22
Our 1600 colleagues work at every stage of the social welfare cycle, supporting 44,000 individuals from cradle to career.
