Join us for this exciting opportunity for the voluntary sector to engage with Amy Rees, Director General CEO, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and Phil Copple, the Director of Operations, HMPPS at our hybrid event. We will be hearing about the new HMPPS senior leadership structure and learning about the priorities and vision for the service, including the role and the value of the voluntary sector working within it.
The event will consist of a discussion between the chair, Anne Fox, Chief Executive Officer at Clinks, Amy Rees and Phil Copple focussing on the themes which have emerged from our recent State of the Sector research findings as well as other current issues that the voluntary sector is facing in the criminal justice system. This will then be followed by a Q&A, which we welcome questions to be submitted for in advance by emailing them to events@clinks.org by 31st March.
This will be a hybrid event hosted by the Ministry of Justice and we have a limited capacity of in-person tickets available to attend Petty France (London). If you wish to attend in-person, please email events@clinks.org to secure your space.
If you would like to attend online, please click ‘Book Now’ to secure your virtual space at the event. The event will be streamed via Microsoft Teams so you will need access to this platform in order to attend.
If you have any questions, please do let us know, and we look forward to seeing you on 3rd May either in person or online!

COVID-19
The symptoms of COVID-19 and other respiratory infections are very similar. It is not possible to tell if you have COVID-19, flu or another respiratory infection based on symptoms alone. Most people with COVID-19 and other respiratory infections will have a relatively mild illness, especially if they have been vaccinated.
If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as COVID-19, and you have a high temperature or you do not feel well enough to attend the conference, government health guidance is to try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people. We would encourage anybody who has tested positive or has symptoms for COVID-19 to consider sending a substitute delegate from their organisation in their place, and if this is not possible to email us at events@clinks.org to inform us of non-attendance.
