“a two day course which will equip you to introduce an outcomes focus within your organisation; gather and evaluate information; learn from your work; and report your outcomes to greater affect”
Funders want to know about your outcomes:
- How does your work affect your service users? What difference do you make?
- Do you contribute to the rehabilitation of offenders?
- Are you learning ‘what works and why’? Can you prove it?
These are fundamental questions for your organisation; the answers to which ensure that you are making a difference and achieving your aims and objectives.
But how do you measure this?
This course will:
- help you understand what outcomes are and how to identify them
- explore ways to collect data and measure outcomes (such as the distance travelled on the offender journey)
- help you understand key principles in reporting outcomes
The training runs on two consecutive days and in order for the attendees to get the full benefit from the training and sharing experience, they should commit to attending both days.
Who should attend?
This course is valuable for both Voluntary & Community and Statutory Sector organisations. Attending staff may include project managers, fundraisers, case managers, those responsible for performance management, and one-to one client support workers with the authority to influence monitoring and evaluation decisions within their organisations/agencies.
