Volunteering and Mentoring
Clinks is holding two free events [30th May, London & 18th June, Manchester] to launch two further publications in the Clinks Volunteering and Mentoring Guides series: a 'Peer Support Guide', and a 'Guide for Trustees'. The event will look at some work Clinks have been doing on evaluating the work of volunteers, and will also explore some of the current issues around volunteering in the Criminal Justice System. Free copies of the Guides on a USB stick will be available to all participants attending the event, which will also include the five guides that have already been produced on (1) Managing Volunteers, (2) Demonstrating Effectiveness, (3) Setting up a Project, (4) External Quality Standards and (5) Service User Involvement.
