Support

Clinks primary aim is to support voluntary sector organisations working within the criminal justice system (CJS). Whether offering frontline services or infrastructure support, your organisation may be able to benefit from Clinks' assistance with generating income, evaluating effectiveness and ensuring good practice when engaging in commissioning and developing collaboration.

Support for the sector - Clinks aims to ensure the sector and all those with whom they work, are informed and engaged in order to transform the lives of offenders. This section outlines the different ways in which Clinks is able to offer support.

Legal support and advice - Clinks is providing support to the voluntary sector to engage with Transforming Rehabilitation (TR). Voluntary sector organisations and social enterprises can access information about the contracting process for TR, including legal information and bespoke legal advice sessions

Local support - Currently based in the South West, Wales, North West and North East, Clinks' Local Development Team helps organisations to navigate the criminal justice system locally; brokers partnerships and develops networks; and identifies and promotes good practice.

Information for umbrella organisations - Clinks is able to offer specific support and information for umbrella organisations, through our local support team, our criminal justice expertise and our range of publications and resources.

Commissioning - Clinks aims to support voluntary sector organisations engaging in commissioning through the provision of a variety of resources and training.

Income generation - Clinks works towards ensuring the continuing development of services for the sector, through the provision of access to funding streams, statistics and publications.

Developing collaboration - Clinks aims to support organisations looking to engage in partnership and collaboration working, an increasingly prominent trend in the sector.

Evaluation and effectiveness - Clinks aims to  share good practice and expert knowledge about evaluation and effectiveness through a variety of resources including case studies, discussion papers and useful guides.

Consultants directory - Clinks associate consultant members all have experience working with voluntary sector organisatons in the criminal justice system (CJS). Access detailed information about individual consultants, including their top 3 areas of expertise, and their experience of working in the CJS. 

Links to sources of support - Clinks aims to support the sector by signposting organisations to sources of support. The amount of support available is vast, so our links section aims to be a one stop hub of information.
