Volunteering & mentoring

“Volunteers are all too often able to add something that cannot be delivered by paid staff, who need to maintain a professional distance.”
Baroness Neuberger (2009)

Clinks promote all aspects of volunteering across the Criminal Justice System because of the added value that volunteers bring to offender rehabilitation. Clinks have set up a Volunteering and Mentoring Network to promote collaboration between delivery organisations and volunteering support services. The network promotes good practice and gathers evidence of the very important role volunteers play in our Criminal Justice System.

Volunteering guides

Clinks have produced a set of guides targeted at organisations who involve volunteers and provide services to offenders and ex-offenders. These are designed to help any organisation, whether they are well established or just setting up. Download the guides here.

Volunteering & Mentoring Network

Clinks offers a thematic group on our interactive platform for you to join free of charge. This allows you to network, share best practice, discuss, debate and get involved in the world of volunteering and mentoring for and by offenders. Get involved at: www.clinks.ning.com
