Other Infrastructure

Clinks are the only organisation to offer support to the whole of the Voluntary and Community Sector working with offenders. A number of other organisations provide infrastructure support for specific areas of the Criminal Justice System and more generic work involving the Voluntary and Community Sector. These include:

ACEVO [Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations] connect, develop and represent the third sector's leaders.

NAVCA [National Association for Voluntary and Community Action] are the national voice of local support and development organisations in England.

NCVO [National Council for Voluntary Organisations] is the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in England.

APF [Action for Prisoners' Families] promotes the just treatment of prisoners' families by the prison system and society across the UK

DTA  [Development Trusts Association] is the leading network of community enterprise practitioners dedicated to helping people set up development trusts and helping existing development trusts learn from each other and work effectively.
