Quality Service Delivery for organisations working with the Criminal Justice System (1 day, limited to 12)
Taking a decision to apply for a quality mark, or to establish yourself as a 'quality
organisation', has a number of implications for an organisation: time, cost, staff/volunteer
moral and commitment. Also selecting the method (internal / external / combination
evaluation) is as important as which mark you may choose to pursue. It is a process
which takes full organisational buy in.
We will look at this 'process' of decision making, practice and evaluate some key
examples (Charter Mark, PQASSO, Matrix, Action for Advocacy, EFQM) and look at recent
work from the NOMS Commissioning and Contestability Unit -- Governance Framework;
HMPS London's Pro-forma; the Attitude Thinking and Behaviour Pathway's Pro forma --
all for practice, discussion, and evaluation as to its appropriateness for you/the
VCS sector and what you will need to have in place to produce the evidence for a quality
mark or as a 'quality organisation'.
