CLINKS NEWS
‘Clinks News’ is our quarterly newsletter containing news and articles about the voluntary and community sector working with offenders and their families. Each edition highlights issues facing our members in delivering their services to offenders. This is balanced with articles from Ministry of Justice, NOMS, HMPS, Probation Service and Local Authorities detailing their plans, policies and strategies affecting the VCS delivering services within the Criminal Justice System. We hope you find the newsletter helpful and lively and welcome any comments and suggestions regarding style or content.
Next Edition
The next edition of Clinks News – Issue 05, Autumn 2008 – will focus on services being delivered to fathers with criminal records. This could be in custody or in the community, and features a broad and wide-ranging set of issues including family ties, employment, drugs and alcohol or domestic violence. This edition aims to highlight some of the barriers faced by the VCS in delivering their services to this group, as well as promoting examples of good practice.
If you’d like to contribute to the next edition, please download a brief (Clinks Newsletter brief) and return your article to
